Meet the Speakers
Sara Ghalaini, LICSW, is a Bay Area-based clinician and second-time founder on a mission to humanize psychotherapy. She leads NYYA, a global network of clinicians across multiple continents revolutionizing equitable, culturally wise care for marginalized communities. A published author and adjunct professor, Sara’s expertise lies in trauma-informed clinical intervention and transformative group processes. Her approach—in private practice and beyond—integrates psychotherapy and coaching, and is deeply shaped by her perspective as an Arab and Muslim immigrant. By bridging Eastern and Western philosophies, she fosters authentic connection and meaningful change, guided by a commitment to affirming practices, structural analysis, and authentic engagement. She will discuss balancing faith, identity, and ambition.
